For those who don’t know, WordPress 2 was released last night. It contains a lot of changes on the backend and includes a few AJAX type features which are nice. You won’t notice any difference to the site at the moment but I will be tweaking the stylesheet over the next few days to show more info (like latest comments etc). The switch took the past couple of hours and everything seems to be working grand. I wanted to ensure that nothing would break so I’ve updated all the plugins I use to the latest versions. If you notice anything strange then please leave a comment. Finally, just a nod to the guys at WordPress for a polished release and a fantastic bit of software. 🙂

Janine finally remembered to tag me to do a meme. 😛 First the rules:
The first player of this game starts with the topic “five weird habits of yourself,� and people who get tagged need to write an entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and link to their web journals.
Now onto my list of weird and not-so wonderful habits.
- I never trust myself that I have the right amount when paying for anything in change. I need to count it over and over.
- I’m always checking that I locked the back door when going to bed at night. This one and the one above are probably mild OCD or something.
- Whenever I go into Subway I always get a foot long turkey and ham sandwich, toasted, with lettuce and tomato. No dressing either.
- Sometimes when I’m sitting down I tend to unconsciously tap my foot. It drives everyone mad when they notice it.
- I don’t know if its a weird habit but I get distracted really easily. Just now I wandered off and checked my Fantasy Premier League score and searched for Peter Jackson’s King Kong production diaries. Only then did I realise I still had to finish this entry. 🙄

Fake or Foto?
Got this from Podz. It’s called Fake or Foto? and you basically have to guess which of the images are CG and which are real. I got 8/10 so it’s not bad going.
BTW: If you noticied a bit of weirdness in the feed it’s due to the fact that I updated any posts with pics in them to reflect the modified CSS.

Originally saw this over at Kev’s blog where he linked an article from the Register explaining how a Dalek’s porno video was pulled from eBay by the BBC. It’s a fantastically ridiculous piece of news and the best part is the quote from Tim Hancock, director of Terry Nation’s estate (creator of the Daleks):
“The reason the Daleks are still the most sinister thing in the universe is because they do not make things like porn. They weren’t ever intended to be sexual creatures. It’s simple, Daleks do not do porn.”
