Project Glass

I’m not sure whether to be excited or scared of Google’s Project Glass. They went public last week with this video:

I’m interested as to how you issue controls to it but I would think it has the capacity to be a really invasive bit of tech if they don’t execute it properly. Still, the tech looks cool and Sergey Brin is apparently wearing his prototype out and about. Let’s see if it makes it out of the labs.

Vultures are back

If you’re a regular here you’ll know I’m a big fan of Devious Theatre and the guys from Kilkenny. Vultures PI isn’t a Devious product but is led by John Morton and a few of the same lads. Debuting in 2009, it was a four part web series tracking the various adventures of the titular Kilkenny based private investigations firm. Things didn’t finish up well for Vultures though as rival international agency, The Pinkertons, ran them out of business. I really enjoyed the first series and, yes you’ve guessed it, they’ve back for more in 2012. Janine Drew Presents Where Have All The Good Dicks Gone is the first of four incoming webisodes between now and June. They’re shorter in format than the first series but still have the mad characters I’ve learned to love (Jack Street is back). If you’d like to catch up on all episodes to date, head on over to their site.
