This is the first of a few posts on music I’ve been listening to of late. As I must have mentioned before, one of the guys from the local pub is mad into new music. He gave me a CD by a band called The Hours about a month ago and I have not been able to stop listening to it. Titled ‘Narcissus Road’, it’s simply superb. I rarely listen to albums all the way through but this is one of those albums.
My favourite tracks would be ‘Ali in the Jungle’, ‘Narcissus Road’, ‘Back When You Were Good’ and ‘People Say’. According to their MySpace page, they’re back in the studio working on the second album. I can’t wait to hear it and hopefully they’ll go on tour when they’ve finished it. Just saw this on MTV (don’t worry, was just passing through). One of my favourite music videos. Interestingly, I couldn’t find a version on Youtube that didn’t have embedding enabled. :S
