The Hours are one of my favourite bands at the moment. Tuesday night was their first gig in Ireland following the release of the debut album ‘Narcissus Road’. I actually booked the tickets while I was in the US and was really looking forward it. The band didn’t disappoint. While the crowd may have been a bit sparse, each tune was bashed out with vigour. The new tunes, especially ‘Think Again’, sounded great and the new album sounds like a winner. If you enjoy indie rock then I’d advise you to check them out on: their official site and MySpace.

Tuesday night. Vicar Street. 11 friends. 1 crappy support act. 2 main peformers. 1 stage. Amazing night. Seriously. Light saber fight below:

If ya want an actual explanation of how things went down, both Darren and Darragh, wrote what I consider to be lesser reviews. 😛
While uploading a few videos to Youtube while we were in Vegas this came up as a related result. Love this video:
Chillin after popping around to Dave’s place and I hear this song on an ad. *cheesy* It lingered in my ear *cheesey*
Taken at Muse in Marley Park on Wednesday evening. T’was a really good gig with the guys starting with ‘Map of the Problematique’ and finishing with ‘Knights of Cydonia’. ‘Feelin Good’ was sung by the whole place along with ‘Plug In Baby’ towards the end. The only crappy part of the evening was travelling to and from Marley Park. It took us an hour and twenty minutes from the city centre which meant we missed Kasabian. Boo-urns.
