This looks very interesting. I hadn’t heard of the book or previous film incarnations. Apparently it features the most expensive scene of all time as the Brooklyn Bridge is destroyed to stop people leaving Manhatten. We’ll know how good it is come December.

The funniest thing in that film by a country mile. 🙂
What a great film Hot Fuzz is. I should know after seeing it three times now. 🙂 If you liked Shaun of the Dead then you’ll really enjoy this as well. It exploits the same comic dynamic between Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to great effect. I don’t want to go into too much detail about the film itself but it’s filled with those moments that have you grinning from ear to ear. Highly recommended.
Been browsing around Apple’s movie trailer site and came across these two films. First up is Will Ferrell and Jon Heder in ‘Blades of Glory‘. Combining both of their comical talents should pay off dividends and while I’m impressed by the trailer, I don’t know if it’ll be as funny as every has been hoping:
I’m including the second one for one reason only, Heather Graham and Bridget Moynahan play tonsil tennis. It’s called ‘Gray Matter‘……I just checked Youtube and the aforementioned scene between Graham and Moynahan is already there. The film isn’t even out yet…. 😆 I’ve embedded it in the full entry
News this morning of Dan Aykroyd’s plans for Ghostbusters 3. Apparently it’s going to be done in CGI and tentatively called Hellbent: Ghostbusters Go To Hell. I don’t know how keen I am on them doing this. Bill Murray is hellbent against doing a live action version so this is the closest they’re gonna get with him doing voice work. It could turn out really badly though. I remain skeptical. (via tcal)
