I’m working on a new project in work for the next few months. We’re creating a web site that features the bridges of Dublin. First up are the bridges over the River Liffey so we’ve lots of archives to sort through for content. The above was taken as we tried to spot duplicates in the imagery we’ve amassed so far. There’s some fascinating material if you’re interested in history. I’ll post a link when we’ve finished.

Friday Photo – Avenue Q
I’d heard about Avenue Q from friends before but knew next to nothing when I was given the chance to go last week. Quite simply, it’s a brilliant, brilliant modern musical. Think Sesame Street for adults with ridiculous songs and over the top characters and puppets. It was so good I booked again to see it on the Saturday. If you’re in the UK, I highly advise catching the tour (dates are here).
If you’re a regular here you’ll know I’m a big fan of Devious Theatre and the guys from Kilkenny. Vultures PI isn’t a Devious product but is led by John Morton and a few of the same lads. Debuting in 2009, it was a four part web series tracking the various adventures of the titular Kilkenny based private investigations firm. Things didn’t finish up well for Vultures though as rival international agency, The Pinkertons, ran them out of business. I really enjoyed the first series and, yes you’ve guessed it, they’ve back for more in 2012. Janine Drew Presents Where Have All The Good Dicks Gone is the first of four incoming webisodes between now and June. They’re shorter in format than the first series but still have the mad characters I’ve learned to love (Jack Street is back). If you’d like to catch up on all episodes to date, head on over to their site.
