Next year we vote on civil marriage equality in Ireland. ‘Yes Equality’ is a campaign throughout the month of November to remind people to register to vote as the deadline is the 25th. I really feel like there is big change coming to Ireland on issues like this. Personally I believe that love is love whomever you find that with. The polls indicate that there is wide support for a Yes vote next year so I’m hoping that people get out and make it a resounding one.

Lego Jurassic Park
I was 12 when Jurassic Park was released so it was a mind-blowing experience and I’ve loved it since. Hence I was delighted to hear of the Lego Jurassic Park idea that’s seeking 10k votes before it’s officially considered for manufacture. I’m sure they’ll spare expense.
Made with the permission and in constant communication with the control tower and the airliners’ pilots, these guys shot the comings and goings on the tarmac at Mexico City International Airport.

I deliberately hadn’t taken the phone or the headphones. I mightn’t have spotted them otherwise. They were standing there watching and waiting. Three herons in all. Spaced along Sandymount Strand as the night tide hit a low peak and receded. Something I hadn’t seen before.
